Drive Shot
The drive shot is played from your midcourt to your opponents midcourt. It is launched at around shoulder height-depending, and is launched with a near-horizontal velocity (slight vertical); It is played with a flat trajectory. The factors of this is really just air resistance; for there is almost no angle to the shot. The shot is really flat and travels straight; what air resistance contributes is the drag. It keeps the shot from going out of play. If there was no air resistance, the velocity of a drive shot would be enough to land outside of the court, with gravity affecting it.
