Net Shot

Net Shot

The net shot is played from your forecourt to your opponents forecourt. It is done by tapping or slicing the shuttlecock (depending on the type of shot), with a slow velocity at angle between 170-180 degrees. It is so that the shuttlecock travels in a parabolic motion. This shot is so slow that air resistance doesn't really affect it's range and height. Since this shot is played at the net, it has slightly more horizontal velocity than vertical so that the opponent doesn't get the chance to attack it.
